A Note from The Candlekeeper

Good evening, Friend.

A lot has happened since our first market back in April. We have learned that we enjoy evening markets over morning times—unless the morning market is indoors. We've learned the optimal times to leave the booth and do our own shopping, and that our waxy volumes do not like the heat (who would have thought?). To be fair, I don't like the heat either.

Along the way, we have met other local makers who are passionate about sharing the things they love with others who love them too. We've made lots of new friends and have had a great deal of fun. We took a break from outdoor markets during the hottest months and used our time to stock up on your favorite volumes, try out new things, and make room on our shelves for new items—more to come on that soon.

I would like to thank the local community, from the bottom of my heart, for welcoming The Gilded Wick into the fold and putting it on the map. Thank you for every kind word, honest critique, and for every moment spent browsing the shelves of this lovingly curated archive. Thank you to my friends from afar who have supported this small scent library—you are amazing. To those who kept coming back and wanting more: you gave me the encouragement to show up when I didn't feel like I could. Thank you.

Now that fall is near, we plan to emerge from our summer hibernation and meet you again on the shelves with new releases alongside our beloved Signature Series—the six fragrances that started it all. Expect limited-time fragrances for the upcoming seasons, new products that will be part of our permanent collection, more pictures, more footage, and more behind-the-scenes looks at what makes up the Gilded Wick. It's not all pretty, and sometimes we just figure things out as we go, but that's just life, isn't it?

You, my dear friend, have made it all worthwhile.

See you again soon,

— P, the Candlekeeper
